I am 72 year old male and I am diabetic and heart patient, my HB1AC is 9, and HIGH SENSITIVITY C-REACTIVE PROTEIN (HS-CRP is 54.5 please suggest what is the risk.

Hello, Thanks for the query. High levels of C- reactive protein is an indicator that there is risk of developing cardiovascular conditions. But does not indicate any specific problem. Just an indicator. Uncontrolled or poorly controlled diabetes is also a risk factor for cardiovascular conditions. With HbA1c% of 9, your diabetes is not well controlled at all. So please see that HbA1c% is brought < 7. Thanks.
