Hi sir I am from delhi my problem is ulcerative proctactis. Nd ibs also I am felling tired weakness always nd burning in my stomach I hv to use washroom 4ya 5 times in a daily sometimes with little mucous nd sir what should I eat please suggest me thanks sir.

Hello lybrate-user Irritable bowel syndrome happens when muscle in your bowel does not squeeze normally, which affects movement of your stool. So first of all please understand don't take stress as it will make your symptoms worse. And 1 Don't smoke 2 Add fiber in your diet fruit, vegetables, nuts 3 Avoid caffeine totally 4 Drink atleast 1L of water in whole day 5 Do exercise and meditation to de-stress yourself 6 Eat smaller meals frequently instead of large meals 7 Avoid spicy food and red pepper completely This will help you alot. As medicines will work only for symptomatic relief. For diarrhoea you can take Tab Imodium 2 mg OD If still symptoms are not improving then consult gastroenterolgist for workup.
