Dr. I am 26 years old male. 1 week above my Blood pressure is 150 to 100 mmhg. And next day my bp is 140 to 100mmhg. And check after 6 day my bp is 130 to 80mmhg. I have not take medicines this time. Doctor I have any problem. I am afraid. Please give me your valuable advice.

Dear lybrateuser, - The normal BP should remain below 120/80 mm of Hg, your BP is on the higher side - try to measure bp at the same time of the day with the same instrument, also measure basal bp that is the bp taken on rising in the morning - follow some precautions to lower it - have a salt restricted diet, avoid salty foods such as pickles, papads & namkeens, also avoid more than 2-3 cups of tea, coffee per day, avoid alcohol & smoking if you do - have more of fruits, vegetables, wholegrains that is fibre rich foods - do regular exercise such as walking, jogging, swimming, playing a game, yoga, meditation & deep breathing to lower your bp & to keep fit.
