Hi. Wisdom tooth which is growing horizontally can put pressure or cause food impaction and cause decay in your adjacent front tooth. If you have pain in front tooth, you have to go for root canal treatment. It is always better to remove wisdom tooth first and proceed with treating the front tooth because removal of wisdom tooth after rct (root canal treatment) may damage your adjacent front tooth because tooth will be fragile after rct and tend to break easily. So 1. Remove wisdom tooth. 2. Assess front tooth, go for rct and crown. Thank you.

Removal (extraction) of your wisdom tooth (3rd molar) is compulsory for your permanent cure. If your carious tooth is painless it can be fill (restored). If it is causing pain then RCT is must.

You need to go for removal of wisdom teeth and followed by the treatment to adjacent teeth (root canal, if it pains or evidentual involvement of pulp or changes surrounding the root on x ray ). For the chances of recurrence of pain or discomfort in future, its upto you only to decide whether to go for the treatment of both the teeth or only one teeth i.e either filling or rct, thank you.
