My mother is 44 years old. She is suffering from thyroid from past 6 years and had menopause 2 years ago. She is suffering from pressure in head and during she feels darkness before her and body in slow motion for 2 3 minutes. Some doctors suggest it is due to gastric problem. What should she do minimize this problem.

You can try to give some good nutritional supplement which is good for her nervous system. You can get her BP and Sugar levels checked and get back to me at LiveLifeMore Diet and Wellness Clinic.
Give her light warm foods. Avoid sour, spicy and oily foods. Keep her on rest. Take every day tender coconut water. Let her practice for pranayama and simple daily walk. Avipattikar choorna 1tsp -1tsp -tsp with 30 ml water before food for 7 days.
Symptoms of Menopause, or rather of "peri-menopause" often overlap with symptoms due to thyroid. Since the symptoms are very similar one could get confused and overlook the impact of menopausal issues on the Thyroid Hormones as a result of which the treatment would be far from optimum. In such a case I would undertake a complete evaluation of the thyroid, Metabolic imbalance and Menopausal Hormones. Only after that would I plan the treatment.
