My 1 month old baby was vomiting 1-2 times a day after feeding. We consulted a paediatrician and he said it is normal in newborn babies and it will stop after 3-4 months. He showed the positions for feeding and while the baby is lied down. He suggested to go for Gastroesophageal Reflux study (Milk Scan) The report says he has one episode of Grade III gastroesophageal reflux. Does the baby need to go for medications or will it get cured in 3-4 months as the doctor said.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, it is a normal phenomenon as per your history, don't panic and just wait. Along with that after a breast feed, hold the baby to the mother's shoulder and Patt the back of the baby, this will reduce the episode.
