Dear lybrate-user My opinion is that first of all you get a fresh ultrasound done so that status of fibroids existing in uterus is known. Presence of fibroids in uterus affects outcome of pregnancy. Based upon this you should decide your treatment plan. If fibroids still exist, then plan should be to remove fibroids along with tubal blockage opening. If fibroids do not exist right now then you have two options 1. Go for IVF, without wasting time 2. Consider laparoscopic with concomitant hysteroscopic surgery. The decision for undergoing surgery should be decided with caution as 1. Previous operative history put you on 'risk' of adhesions in pelvic area, which are amenable to re-develop after second surgery as well. 2. Considering re-surgery, as well, natural conception chances exist but are reduced. It is also advisable that you should visit an expert who is well versed with advanced laparoscopic & hysteroscopic surgery skills. Before undergoing this you must also take an opinion of IVF specialist / Reproductive Medicine specialist. Hope this opinion helps you.
