Dear Lybrateuser, - Do warming up for 10-15 min before the main exercise, if you ate running then first walk briskly for 10 min then start your jogging, do this till you are comfortable & breathing is normal, also can do mild stretching before jog to prevent injury, do cooling down for 5-10 min after the jog - also keep well hydrated by having a cup or two if water 15-20 min before jog, some water during the jig & again after it - also have a snack like a fruit, banana, apple 20-30 min before the jog & one after the jog - slowly increase the time & intensity so that your body becomes accustomed to the exercise.
