Dear Lybrate User, Psychiatric drugs work in a different manner than other allopathic drugs. So the sleepiness and Weight Gain both are resultant of the Psychiatric medication which is a must for her as they are able to make her cope with her issues. What you can do is additonally connect her with a Psychologist where she can take up sessions to channelize her energies in more creative sources. Divine Blessings!
