Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given. I do see you really have a problem, which is directly related to drinking alcohol (whether beer or otherwise) and consumption of pan packets. Secondly there is no mention about your blood glucose control. No fasting, PP glucose levels and HbA1c% as well as no mention of current treatment (quantitity & type of Insulin being taken as you have T1 DM). Plus you are also stating there is some problem with liver which I am sure is a direct consequence of excess alcohol consumption. However, all the information is very general. There are no specifics like liver function test reports, blood glucose levels, LFT values, drugs being taken with dosage. All these are required for making any meaningful suggestion or for giving an advise. However, othing is sure and that is you will have to STOP alcohol (in whatever form) totally. Similarly pan and tobacco products too have to be stopped. Blood glucose has to be controlled effectively. (fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8). Exercise regularly and take balanced and healthy diet. If you want any specific advise please come in a private conversation (paid consultation) with all the above mentioned relevant details then I will be able to do the needful. Thanks.
