As long as you feel comfortable doing sex there is no harm, although we advise against sex for first three months.

Dear lybrate-user It's nice to share your concern. Having sex during pregnancy is not a problem until you know that when you should have. One month pregnancy is very sensitive. 3 months onwards you can have once a while but on safe positions. Any act which has direct impact /pressure on pelvis can initiate uterine cramps during pregnancy. Be sure you practice safe positions. Second part of your query. Once pregnancy establishes, the cervix (uterine opening) is closed with a plug, so nothing can enter inside.
