I took ayurvedic weight loss pills of "Dhanwantari's" and I gained 8 kgs. What do I do now? It was a weight loss plan. They know I have thyroid and they even told me it will work. Please advice

Hi Lybrate User, I hope you realise by now that No medicine can reduce any weight. These are all myths and illusions. In fact people become more careless about food after taking the medicine hoping that the medicine will reduce weight. What you need to do now is. #1. Change your diet, get down to 1400 calories diet per day. #2. Do daily walk n jog for an hour. #3. Forget all these medicines or any shortcuts like lime Ginger honey green tea etc. These don't work. 'You' have to work. #4. Just focus on fruits, veggies, salads. #5. Your Thyroid problem is very minor, it will not add any weight. Take daily medicine, that solves the problem. #6. Take only one chapati in each meal. You can consult directly if you want.
