I am hypertensive and type 2 diabetic, hypertension from last 4 years, diabetes from 1 year, I am 45 year old, I tried medication like Amlodipine/Olmesartan/Telmisartan in combination of Hydrochlorothiazide + Benidipine + Chlortalidone, nothing helped me, but when ever I take propranolol or Atenolol I feel comfortable, I came to know Atenolol and propranolol are not safe in diabetic, I am worried to take, my doctor giving me Olmesartan alone some time I feel chest pain, please advise weather I can continue with Atenolol or with propranolol in long run without any problems.
