Dear lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to GERD which can cause acidity leading to burning sensation - reduce weight by diet & exercise - avoid fried, spicy, sour & junk foods, also limit intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day, avoid alcohol & smoking if you do - chew your food well, have 4-6 small meals including snacks rather than three large meals, have meals on time, do not miss meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, raise your pillow end by 4-6 inches while sleeping at night * have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper digestion - take tablet Pan40, 1 tablet daily half an hour before breakfast till symptoms subside - do regular exercise like walking, jogging, yoga for proper digestion - consult a dietician on forum for your calorie requirement to reduce weight as per your activity level & constitution.
