My girlfriend's brother and sister are deaf from birth. Her mom's brother (maama) is also deaf. But me and she can hear normally. What are the chances of getting deafness to our kids and the future generations. Please help me as soon as possible.

Hello lybrate-user I would suggest you to get genetic tests done for confirmed results. The genes responsible for hearing loss if found to be present recessively in you and your girlfriend, could increase the probability of hearing loss in babies. Genetic testing is the best way to get assured information. Thanks!
