I'm 22 year old male. 5 days before, When I had ear pain due to bud insertion, I consulted ENT doctor. He said that slight skin injury is there and then did syringing to remove wax which got stuck. After that my pain got reduced and 2 days after I had slight pain around my ear. So, I used c-biotic 3 drops twice a day and visited him again. He again did syringing once and then used sucker. He said that there is fungal infection and gave candid ear drops. He said to keep my ear dry for 5 days with using that 3 drops thrice a day and asked for any burning sensation while using drops and I said I had light warm feeling of drops for 5 seconds. There is no pain now. After 5 days, he said he'll do endoscopic cleaning if any fungus is there. Is it necessary to do endoscopic cleaning? Will there be any consequences? Doesn't these drops treat fungus? Kindly advise. Thank you.

Overall it will help you better than naked eye cleaning. If infection has gone down properly then he might not do that. Choice is in your hands. If you don?t wish to get endoscopic cleaning then inform him that do suction with naked eye. No more syringing with water because water can cause fungus to grow again. Get well soon.
