Hi I am male 38 years old over weight with diabetes for 3 years regular drink n smoke facing the problem with erection while doing intercourse and I had tried confido tab I had tried the other medicine for hard erection but not getting that even because of this I feel very depress which is effecting on my self confidence also I seriously need gud suggestion and medicine which will give me my confidence back sir really expecting with lots of expectation pls help me out.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. One of the common complications of diabetes is erectile dysfunction. This is seen fairly early as microvasculature supplying the penile muscle is affected. One of the primary need is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. This helps in preventing damage to microvaculature. However, if ED has occured then also strict glucose control is must to prevent deterioration. The tablet mentioned is an Ayurvedic drug, action of which is not very clear or definite. There are other drugs belonging to PDE-V Inhibitors group, which may be better, to be used just before the act. Thanks.
