If you will not visit a dentist now, the hope for saving the tooth will be reduced to zero. If the dentist will advise for extraction you can choose not to. Nobody can force you. But if the tooth is in initial stage of gum disease, there are pretty much chances that it can be saved. Our prime job is to save the tooth but unfortunately people used to visit when there is no hope or very little hope.
