Implant is definitely the best choice (though a bit expensive!). A bridge requires the cutting of healthy adjacent teeth whereas an implant can be placed spot-on (in the area where teeth are missing without touching the healthy teeth). A crown per tooth can cost you somewhere around Rs. 4000-15,000 depending on the quality and type, whereas a single tooth implant will start from around 28,000 (crown cost extra!) and go upto 80,000 (American Implants).

Hello Lybrate user, both implant and bridge can be a good option to replace missing teeth but it is difficult to tell which is better. Both of them are done for selected cases and have their own advantage. In smokers or diabetic individual or any patient with poor oral hygiene I will not suggest implant because the chances of failure is more. Bridge is a safer option in such cases and chances of failure is less. Hope this helps.
