Hello Dr, I feel some Dizziness sometimes (chakkar). I have 7 months old baby and I am a nursing mother. It was a c section. I took proper medicines. So, is it normal to feel it even after 7 months post delivery?

Dear Lybrate user, it is not so common in post delivery to have vertigo or dizziness. But the cause can be traced. As you r nursing a baby your nutrition depots are emptying and goes to baby, and due to c section you may have remained anaemic. So you can take good amount of dates, brinjals. Jaggeries and cereals and legums and pulses that will provide you enough energy iron and proteins. So there will no problem in child raring.

Hi lybrate-user. Yes you can feel some dizziness post delivery, primarily because of depletion of nutrients from your body. But to just take it as an absolute answer would be an over simplification. Dizziness or chakkar or vertigo can also occur because of vestibular (inner ear) disorder or cervical spondylosis. You need to go visit an ent specialist to clinch the diagnosis.
