Hello, there's sudden onset of pimples since last 5-6 months. 1st Erytop used to work however, now it is ineffective. And these pimples pop up overnight big n red. Someone told me about betnovate N, but I'm not sure about it. Kindly advise as its painful n I have never had this problem before except very very rare instance with one or two which would eventually vanish with erytop.

Hi lybrate-user! Acne may be of different grades. Mild acne can be managed by just creams and ointments. Severe acne requires oral medications. And you may have developed resistance to erythromycin now hence Erytop not working. Kindly send me a photograph so that I can assess your acne severity and suggest accordingly. The treatment should be done for a duration of 3-4 months for good and long lasting results.
