Father got l4 spinal compression fracture. Age 73 years. Bone density -4.75. Please suggest if surgery can be done.

At this age you should think option of conservative treatment. Physiotherapy is good option. 1. Spinal extensor exercise abd abdominal strengthing exercise is needed. Iso metric back exercise. 2. Take calcium in take. Like Milk products. Vit D 3 schates is adviceable.
