I am suffering from High Bp for seven years and taking telmisartan 40 mg daily but still my no is 140/85. My heart rate varies from 60 to 70 per min. Do I need to consult a heart specialist.

You started having high BP at a young age Hope your kidney function were checked and are normal Have low salt diet and be more physically active If BP stays high and your urine and kidney function are normal, can increase telmusartan to 80 mg BP tends to increase in winter.
