Weight reduction should not be done in a hurry. It can lead to metabolic problems. As wight gain does not happen in 1-2 months, wight reduction too should be phased over a few months. Ideally wight loss should not be more that 3-4 kgs / month. For losing 10 kg, you should plan for 2.5-3 months. To start with, you must start consuming increased fruits and veggies. In morning consume fruits before breakfast and in afternoon and evening, eat salad/raw veggies before meals.
