I am a bit healthy. I want to lose my weight and reduce my belly fat. I walk 4 kms daily and do yoga for half an hour. I have stopped eating junk food completely. Still I am not able to lose my weight. What can I do? Please help! What should be my diet plan?

Hi lybrate-user, If you want to reduce weight it is good idea but going by your Ht of 141 and Wt of 45 kgs your BMI is 22.6 which should be less than 25 and is normal in your case Walking 4 km a day and Yoga is a good way and in Diet you do not need to starve yourself but avoid fasting, take small frequent feeds and avoid deep fried foods and reduce Sugar and Salt intake but do not be drastic Adding Abs exercises will help lose abdominal fat Keep working and achieve the result over time Take care and best wishes.

Once you reached your ideal body weight your body will try to maintain it, here you didn't mentioned your weight and height so I don't know you are in your ideal weight or not. Normally through exercise and proper food intake you can maintain your weight in a healthier way. First you have to make a proper plan for your normal day, like according to your convenience set proper timing for your food intake and exercise. Next plan is what you are going to eat and how you are going to do exercise, If there, for a time period avoid the intake of alcohol, soft drinks, deep fried items, sweets and pastries. At a time if you are taking more calories that will make you fat, eg: with lunch if you are taking soft drinks or juices or with break fast if you are taking tea or coffee, You can have that tea, coffee or juices in between your main meals like mid morning, evening. Maintain 2 to 2.5 hours gap between your each meals including your mid morning and evening snacks. With your each cereal intake include vegetables as a form of curry, subji, salad etc. With your diet don't stick with a particular vegetable and fruits, try to include all different colored vegetables and fruits. Include fruits in mid morning or evening. Continue your exercise. Take at least 3 liter of water.
