I am getting frequent pimples in cheeks at extreme ends only as well as pimples in the side of lips sometimes. It has been happening from years. I want to get rid of this now. If I am skipping ropes 500 per day and I want to gain weight should I stop skipping or what exercise should I do?

Hello Lybrate user, to gain weight I would suggest you to follow a diet rich in proteins, carbohydrates and good fat like- almonds, walnuts, chicken, eggs, fish, soybean, vegetables, pulses, potato, sweet potato, milk, soy milk, paneer, tofu etc. Along with this you also need to do some exercise to build up your muscle mass and will help you gain weight in a healthy way. Below is a sample diet chart that you can take it as an example and follow- early morning- banana + 10 almonds then exercise with weight lifting breakfast- 8-10 eggs + 1 cup milk + 1 fruit midmeal- nuts/ bhuna chana/ lassi/ fruit lunch- 2 cups dal + 1 cup protein rich veg + 3 chapatti + 1 cup curd+salad evening- milk + soy chaap/ chicken dinner- 1 cup vegetable +2-3 chapatti + salad To start with this amount of quantity you need to increase the amount of food slowly and not immediately as you will not be able digest this much amount of food at the start, so incorporate foods slowly to increase your food intake. Also with diet you need to keep working on your muscles to grow. So you can do some stretching exercises and if skipping you can keep doing it as you are doing it, there is no harm in exercising. It will help grow your muscles and ultimately will help in weight gain. And for pimples, I would suggest you to gently rub the mixture of sulfur+coconut oil+kapur on your pimples and keep it overnight. Use multani mitti instead of face washes and soaps to clean. Its a slow process will take a few months to recover so keep doing this regularly with patience and you will get good results. Also avoid desserts and fried foods and foods like pickles etc. Good luck!
