I was 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant wen decided to do medical abortion oct 23. Bleed for almost 13 days with on and off bleeding. Just a normal bleed like menstruation. Then last nov 5 bleeding stop so I decided to take preg test. Result is positive. It was my 2nd week after doing that abortion. Then yesterday I started to bleed again. Whats happening in my body. How long does it take to have a positive result. Im panicking. Positive result then still bleeding (light)

Pregnancy test remains positive even after delivery or abortion erratic bleeding is due to retained pieces which may not be visible on ultrasound go to local doctor opd procedure of Menstrual regulation done with special syringe to sucks out pieces in the uterus due to retention of pieces procedure is carried out under general anesthesia or local anesthesia but admission is not required don't forget to take a course of antibiotics and some iron folic acid supplements to build blood.
