I'm suffering from social anxiety symptoms like facial sweating (main problem, improper breathing, nervousness,avoiding social gathering ,but when I consult psychiatrist he prescribe me to take etizolam 0.25 in morning and afternoon. But I'm scared to take this medicine becoz of negative reviews on internet as this drug is also banned in some countries. Is this medicine harmful for long period? I also avoid job interviews due to my facial sweating and nervousness all the time. I'm a very reserved kind of person and have a very few friends .plz help me to overcame from this problem Past history - I have asthma and g6pd deficiency by birth and also have hbp diagnosed in 2015.

As you are going through social anxiety try to do meditation or ralaxation exercise doing 10-15 times inhale and exhale but within this process alter your anxious thoughts with positive ones like I can do better and I am the best. 2) try to challenge your anxious thoughts of facing other people or crowd, social environment by why, when, how to your thoughts. Such as question your thoughts why they are keep coming to your mind? What is the need of that thought? Is it helpful to think in that way for myself?
