Milk production in a lactating mother is directly proportional to how much the mother suckles the baby, how much water and fluids she takes and how tension free she is. Lactaire and domperidon also are helpful. There is no reason why you will not get milk if there is compliance to guidance is done. If you express the milk you may get just 20 ml but when the baby suckles she gets much more. You can verify this by taking pre and post feed measurement on an electronic scale. Most of all, give minimal top feeds. And RELAX. Enjoy feeding.
