I would like to know is it ok to run 3 km or more everyday. I'm bit health conscious now, I hv reduced my weight from 82 kg to 70 kg n nw to maintain? this I getup everyday by 5 am except sunday, run for 3.5-4 km ten walk, go to gym n exercise for an hour. After lunch I walk, after dinner also I walk. Its almost like 20 or more km I do it everyday. M confused wen someone says don run or walk this much, but I don see any trouble with this habit n want to confirm is it ok to continue? I take time breakfast (heavy), lunch (heavy) n dinner (lite or skip sometym). I avoid eating junk food like burger or pizza, but try to hv it once or twice in a month. I don smoke neither tk drink nor tried drink so far. Bt ppl say I should take drink at least which I don want. I'm veggie but eat non veg as well but not much. Still, somtym I face cough/cold (tks time to go) n gas trouble started almost a year back. I wish to knw wt i'm missing. I'm married wid a kid. I stay in pg due to job n eat outside food.

Hi Lybrate user, it's absolutely fine to run daily with adequate rest for a day. Regarding physical activity at gym need to know the details. There is no need for you to start drinking alcohol. Keep a check on water intake and consume atleast 3 to 4 litre water Secondly don't drink water with food or after food. Keep a gap and look for habits that maybe causing gastric trouble as you eat outside.
