My father is suffering from cardiac asthma and diabetes from last 2 years and is under medication. Investigation shows cardiomegaly. And pedal edema is present. But now severe cough is present with less amount of sputum which is not affected by any drug. Test for TB is negative. And cough aggravates on supine position. What should I do to treat the cough? Thank you for your regards.
