Hello. I don't know why. But my right knee pains. From outside. I mean from right side. It started when I started running and then when I started doing squats. How can I solve this and whats wrong?

Hello. I read your problem for your right side knee pain. Pain while running indicates that you have a muscle strain in the main hip and knee muscle. It is known as runner's knee. I would like you to apply ice pack for 15 minutes exactly on the length of that painful structure called IT Band. (Look for the location of the muscle from internet) It is on the outer part of the thigh. Do gentle massage on that muscle with a stick or a foam roller if you have for 5 minutes. Use some thick and hard structure on it. Avoid running on the uneven ground, wear proper running shoes and always stretch your calf muscle and quadriceps muscle before running in standing position. Look for images on google. Stretching should be 30secs-1 minute long for muscle to elongate properly Without any jerks. For knee-apply ice pack again if you have pain above 5/10 and swelling.
