I Have issues with pain the upper abdomen quite a while. It was a stabbing pain that lasted for sometimes the whole day. However the issue resolved when I was diagnosed with anxiety. However one month ago I again started having the same pain. I had several tests like a chest X-Ray, echocardiography,eco tmt. All of the results were quite normal .I was diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease. I was put on Panidol medicines for the same. I noted quite a significant improvement .However since the last few days I started felling irritation in the throat & acute pain in the throat. I also had difficulty in swallowing. I underwent a laryngoscopy. I was diagnosed with Reflux Esophagitis & heartburn. I was put on medications like Sucrafil-O & Gaviscon Gel. I was also advised to quit smoking & avoid food with high acid content. I was relieved of my symptoms. Since last few days I am again. Experiencing stabbing pain in upper middle abdomen only when I lie down or concentrate on a particular thing like watching movies or reading while lying down .I am also having hard stools with difficulty in passing them .I am having no other symptoms like blood in the stool. Sir please advise me. This pain is only while I lie down.
