Hi, I am 40 years old. My height is 165 cm weight 66 Kg. I am diabetic from last 2 years. My sugar level is 140 fasting. Still I am not taking allopathic medicine only home remedies. My question is that as I was told by others diabetic persons that 140 fasting sugar does not affect the body and taking sugar medicine for long will affect the body adversely like joint pain etc. So they suggest to control the sugar without allopathic medicine. I tried to control it but it only come down to 130 to 140 fasting. Whether allopathic medicine is necessary for me or I can continue with my daily routine. 130 to 140 sugar affect the body?

Fasting BS 130 is definitely a bit higher You need medicines but not v high doses. These medicines do not have negative effect if taken under expert guidance. Diet regulation is must.
