Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. In diabetes due to peripheral neuropathy, burning sensation, tingling and numbness can occur in hands and legs & feet. This happens even when diabetes is well controlled. In a well controlled diabetes fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8. I am not sure about your levels as nothing is mentioned. Further alcohol also has detrimental effects on nerves. It is also necessary to know your liver function test results, which will give an idea about liver's condition. So please come back with all the details plus your current treatment with drugs and dosage. Thanks.
