Is every little ulcer under the tongue in mouth due to smoking a cancer? Because I have a little ulcer under the tongue for almost three years. I have leukoplakia near the ulcer area and some time I feel pain on the ulcer. I am a smoker. Will the ulcer disappears by it's own if I can leave smoking?

No, not every ulcer is bad. But anything on and around tongue which is there for such long period needs attention. You appear overweight and have a habbit. Always mention the frequency of the habbit. I will strongly advice you to see either a general dentist or a pathologist for the ulcer. Don't wait more.

Not every ulcer is related to cancer. But an ulcer that is recurrent for chronic duration such as 3 years is mandatory to be checked out. Your doctor will give you local analgesic cream and antibiotics. You should be able to heal your ulcer however if not your doctor will take a swab of your ulcer to see under the microscope.
