Dear lybrate-user, if this is the first episode of headache you are suffering in your life, then this may be a serious condition, otherwise, if earlier also you had headaches occuring for 4 to 12 or 24 hours, occuring 1 to 2 times in a month, then possibility of migraine is there. As you said, your headache is precipitated by sleep deprivation or using devices, this mostly occur in migraine. Other precipitating factors are hunger, few smells, chocolates, petrol smell. So if you have such precipitants, then think of migraine. But if it's first time you having such headaches, get an MRI brain done urgently, as it may be serious. For migraine, complete relief is possible by drugs.
