I am a 27-year-old female. I am over weight. And few days ago I was diagnosed with a cyst in my right ovary. I am getting married next soon and me and my husband do not have plans to have a child within next 5 years. When I consulted a doctor he prescribed me NOVELON and asked me to continue as oral contraceptive after marriage. I trust my doctor's opinion, but just to be sure, is it safe for overweight women? Do I have any chances of further weight gain? Please help.
