I am in confusion if you can guide me. I got periods on 4th September and I had sex on 6th day of my periods on 9th september for the first time and unprotected but he dint drop into me. And I missed my periods in this month on 4th Oct so today on 9th Oct I conducted self pregnancy test with prega news early morning it showed only one pink line which states negative but m not sure if it's 100% accurate it doesn't give me peace of mind, what should I do to confirm if I am pregnant or not? According to you what is the conclusion of the said condition. Pls guide should I conduct another self test or shud I go for blood test to confirm I still dint get my periods it's been almost a week. Give the best solution.

There are no chances of pregnancy as you had sex in your menstrual cycle and you were in your safe period when ovulation would not have taken place and hence no chances of conception or fertilization. But with 6th day of menses it means that endometrium is being shed and fresh endometrium would grow in next 10-12 days to allow any implantation. Let us presume on that 6th day then still even if there is a fertilization then due to inadequate endometrium, implantation shall not occur and you would still be safe. But if your periods didn't come, so you can go for again pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy after 1 week, and if it comes negative, then we will go for blood tests, because sometimes periods gets delayed due to any slight change in daily routine, or some stress, or due to hormonal imbalance.
