My child is suffering from chronic constipation since the age around 2 years. Now he is 8 years of age. After a few days his stool starts leaking. All of his tests like thyroid, CBC, ultrasound, LFT etc were normal. We have consulted endless doctors, even tried ayurveda as well as homoeopathy. But the problem still remains. Due to this, his appetite and consequently his growth has been adversely affected. He was previously prescribed short term laxatives by various doctors. Kindly guide. He sits on the toilet only when he feels lot of pressure. Otherwise he is quite an active child. His father is a diabetic and I have thyroid issues.
