Dear Lybrateuser, - Avoid too much neck movement - apply pain relief gel three times a day - take pain relief tablet two to three times a day - sleep on a firm pillow which gives proper support to your neck & shoulders while sleeping - consult a physiotherapist for neck exercises, if pain is more traction is required - get an x- ray cervical spine done to rule out any bony problem. x ray
