My wife aged 61 years is suffering from Anemia and my doctor after referring to blood report confirms she is thalassemia minor patient. Is there any medicine available for this diagnose. She is also suffering from type II diabetes and hypertension.

Encouraged to drink any kind of tea with meals which decreases iron absorption foods to avoid prunes, watermelon, leafy veggies, cornflakes, 100% bran follow small meal pattern including good fiber rich foods and cut down on intake of salt.
