I have some skin disease in my head, I want to know it's a fungal disease or being its a scalp psoriasis and why its happen. For this problem can I take which type of medicine When I use comb in my head there is like removal of infected skins. It's fall over like dandruff now I am tonsure my head. So, that only I am see its look like white thermal. Please help me to relive from this problem doctor. I am a student I am nit able to concentrate in my studies behalf of this problem.

Dear lybrate-user! Do not worry about the skin problem, there are various type of skin disease, as you mention about the infection and how the skin looks .but we did not get the picture to diagnose it properly I will suggest general skin care 1. Wash the affected area with normal water 2. Apply only pure coconut oil or olive oil, do not apply any ointment unless prescribed by the physician 3. Do not apply any native medicine on it, some times some substance may induce the problem more 4. Eat fresh vegetables and fruits 5. Do not expose the affected area to heat or dust 6. Wash your cloths with dettol and dry it in the sun 7. Change your dress which are too old 8. Do not allow much perspiration in the affected area. 9. If any food substance cause itching, note it and avoid it. 10. Do not take any self medication without doctors knowledge.
