Sir I have gone for a routine medical check up. And they have done ultrasound scan of abdomen and told you have a cluster of gallstone of less than 5 mm. The physician told me not to worry as there is no any symptoms. As I am diabetic and bp since 4 years which is always normal and I take glycomet 0.5 mg.But I am worried about gallstone. My age is 56 years and height of 180 cm and weight 109 kgs. Pl advice and suggest some medicine for dissolve of gallstone. Or any operation needed.

Hello User. First of all I want to tell you that you are diabetic. So you have more chances getting infective complications of gallstones. Besides you have multiple small stones in your gb which can slip into common bile duct and complicate the condition. I would suggest an early laparoscopic Cholecystectomy and good control of blood sugars. Regarding medicines for desolving gallstone there isn't much role. By the time you get operated avoid spicy oily and fatty food. Take plenty of fluids. Lap cholecystectomy is a very simple surgery in expert hands and I pray for your good recovery. Regards.
