My son, age 1.6 yrs. Is suffering from fever 100 to 101 degrees, cold,and severe cough from last three days. I have taken advice from three doctors (child specialists) last three days, they have prescribed para syrup, anti cough syrup, amoxy antibiotic e.t.c but fever and severe cough still persists. Now from last one day loose motions also started. He strictly avoids breast feeding. All the tests of blood, urine,x ray were performed and according to the docs. All the reports are normal and no signs of pneumonia were observed to which I was afraid of, but even after giving para syrup and all the medication there is no relive in fever and cough. Docs says that it is viral fever and will take 3 to 7 days to heal, Last night also fever was 102 degrees and severe cough were observed. Docs says that WIDAL test will be performed after 7 days of fever. PLEASE PLEASE SUGGESTS WHAT TO DO.
