Hello Doctor I'm 32 years old female, I've been married 5 years ago, I'm pregnant now about 30 weeks. It's my second pregnancy. My first pregnancy was miscarriage about tow and half years ago. I have diabetes and high blood pressure. At my present pregnancy, there was a light bleeding or spotting at the beginning of my pregnancy it was still about two weeks, that time I went my local doctor for consult & then my doctor were prescribe me some pregnancy related medicine included insulin for diabetes and high blood pressure. And she also prescribe progynova 2 mg tablets, & I taken it till 8 months for my doctor advised. One day I found it through the internet progynova 2 mg is not safe in pregnancy, & then I stop taken it to her permission. So dear doctor my question to you that why my doctor prescribe me progynova 2 mg tablets with other medicine? & I was taken it long time like 8 months, is long time progynova 2 mg taken can effect my unborn baby? I'm very worried about it now, please answer me. I want my answer from any Gynaecologist.
