Hello doctor my hubby addicted to alcohol not able to control next drinks once started. I think he is drinking more than 16 years. Once started he drinks 3/4th of 750 ml bottle. Sometimes full bottle. Can I give disulfiram 500 mg for him. Since it is 16 years habit does disulfiram have effect on liver and brain. Also can I give vitamin B1 thiamine supplements please suggest.

U need to consult psychiatrist for detoxification nd anti craving management. Disulfiram. Is always given with caution. Nd with consent of patient. It is also importa nt to tackle. Relapse. To develop coping skills.

Hi Don't gv disulfiram Will be difficult to manage afterwards Go to a homoeopathy pharmacy ask for Sulphur 200 one dose only Keep 20 mins gap before n after taking medicine Let me know after 15 days.
