Health Query No Periods +4 I have been recently diagnosed with endometriosis on my left ovary which measures about 9 cm and also the reports tells that my left ovary is not seen separately. Right ovary has few tiny cysts of 18 mm. Doctors have suggested for laparoscopic surgery to remove the endometriosis but I am not interested to go for surgery so what is the best second option. I am 30 years old and unmarried. My periods are regular and no heavy flow. Periods last for 4 to 5 days. I get slight pain in my abdomen and lower back which is bearable. I get nausea and vomiting too on the first day of my periods. I do not have any other health problems. I want to know if the endometriosis is left untreated is their any kind of health risks or complications or is thr any treatment through medications without surgery. As I was not well a bit pain in my legs so doctor suggested for the whole body check up by which I have come to know about the endometriosis through sonography and after sonography even I have gone through ct scan plain and contrast of pelvic and abdomen. So what should be my first step towards treatment.

Having 9 cm cyst is quite big and the ovary not visible it suggest that endometriosis cyst has damaged it. There is possibility of kinking both the tubes, I insist you should go for laparoscopy to remove it and send for biopsy do not spend time in treating with medicines after removal medicines can be started .take care.
