Dear Yash, this kind questions need some interaction between you and the clinician and therefore deserves a private consultation. For your information any semen semen sample with about 20 millions count, about 30% Rapid Linear Progression or 40% active motility, 40% or more of normal-structured spermatozoa, with pus cells less than 5 per HPF, fructose positive, pH at appropriate level is a fertile sample. Also, there should be no clumping of spermatozoa. Ideally the semen is tested with 2-5 days after the preceding ejaculation. Your semen parameters are good despite testing within 12 hrs of a previous ejaculation. However the pus cells is still a question. Many not-so-well trained technicians mistake other cells for WBCs. Its also possible that you really have an infection which is resistant to the drugs used. Did your spouse the antibitics too? If not, that may be another reason for your loaded pus cells. Infertility is not a simple thing to resolve, it has a myriad factors involved and require a comprehensive evaluation of the couple.
