My 2.5 years old daughter suffering from Hydrocephalus. She treated with VP shunt at her age was 9 Months. But Now her head size is still bigger than normal. & Still She cannot sit herself properly & cannot stand. Her intelligency is also poor. So, Please suggest me what can I do for her for his best recovery.

Hello thanks for the query the growth and development of a baby suffering from hydrocephalus depends on the severity of involvement of brain. If the cortical thickness is very less and there is severe ventricular dilatation the outcome is poor. Please attach the report so that I better able to help you out. I hope she must has undergone hearing and visual assessment as there is high chance of hearing and visual impairment in such condition. Physical rehabilitation helps in recovery. Regards.
